Hey Chris,

I have downloaded the mac installer from passport advantage. I get an error when installing that states it cant be installed because the software is not compatible with my operating system. My operating system is Mac OS X 10.6.4, any idea's

Hey folks, I tried #14 and some other things posted in the comments, but I'm still having the same issue. Actually, after performing all the steps and then when I open power manager, even before or after the reboot, and it doesn't allow me to choose any profile.

If I create new ones it will show in the list, but still does not allow me to select any of them. (I'm using last version of power manager driver and power manager software for my T400 downloaded in Lenovo website).

I have wasted several hours on this and now I can't get it fixed, I didn't want to format my laptop and install everything again, but neither want to leave this as it is, battery is lasting only 1:30-2:00 when it would last for almost 5 straight hours.
Have anybody found another solution?

I had this happen a second time in less than a year. I'm using the latest version of the software. This is ridiculous!

For some reason the recaptcha_response_field is not populating when I save the document in internet explorer. It is populating in Mozilla. This is causing the agent to be passed blank values. Any ideas?

Actually, I had to install xp again, installed the power manager on clean xp and... it keeps forgetting about the hibernate setting - keeps it turned off. I am amazed about how bad a piece of software this is... I am very angry with this, this is sure.

First deleted all the powerpolicies from the whole register.

Then I followed advise nr 14.

When you get your keys from reCaptcha, you have to specify the domain to which they apply. Your keys will only work for sites in that domain. I don't know what to tell you beyond that. Make sure that you put your public key in the code snippet that displays the Captcha form and your private key in the Javascript.

This is saving me grief and sanity too. Thanks a lot. I like using the Thinkpad power man. but this is ridiculous how annoying it can get.

For hibernate do not forget to allow hibernate in bios. My mistake that time.

@Spence: I did never test with Domino 6.5.x, only 8.0.x.
As the agent is written in java there is a good chance that the java runtime version is different and the code will just not compile as reported in some comments here.

Am I the first one to tell you that Domino 6.5.x is out of support in hot 10 days (end of April 2010)?

First, this is a very nice implementation and was a great help to me. Here are a couple of places I went wrong that I wanted to point out:

1. In the additional Javascript code for the agent, note the line: reCaptcha.setPrivateKey("") and be sure to put in your Captcha private key (obtained when you set up your account with reCAPTCHA). Chris noted this in the code comments, but it wasn't mentioned in the directions and I missed it at first.

2. I implemented the code as part of an error-trapping routine on my web submit button. For a long time, I couldn't figure out why the $$Return field value was ignored. Also, the saved documents were missing the "Form" field. When I went back through Chris's code, I found the doc.save(). This was apparently preventing the normal @Command([FileSave]) on my submit button from running. Once I removed the doc.save() from the agent Javascript code, eveything worked fine.

Again, thanks for your implementation. With a few tweaks, it worked beautifully for me.

i'm trying to implement captcha based on your instructions. I get 2 errors:
1. In the WQS agent, (I copied 'Your code goes here' from your webpage), when I SAVE, it get this error:

Java error(s). Choose Yes to continue saving anyway. No to edit errors.

2. This is another error I get. Sounds like some encription problem.

This reCAPTCHA key isn't authorized for the given domain. More info

The Date in the results is DSModifiedTime or DSCreationTime. Unfortunately when i use $Created entry in documents the domain search ignored this.

Is there a trick, so domainsearch use/shows the $Created field? ...
